Stephen Thrower, experimental musician and and one half of Coil-affiliated duo Cyclobe, composes the original soundtrack to legendary gay porn, Kristen Bjorn’s film, ‘Trouser Bar’. The a-side features ‘Trouser Bar Suite’ a 20 minute pulsating, hypnotic, electronic disco suite that is accompanied by three newly commissioned pieces to two silent films by the “grandfather of gay porn”, Peter de Rome – Encounter (1971) and The Fire Island Kids (1971) – these tracks, in contrast to the a-side, share the same, haunting and experimental tropes as his work in Cyclobe and Coil
