In order to transfer all her “life works” from tape to digital and go through all her material on various formats
It has been an everlasting process to locate all the tapes, films and cassettes. When in need of a break they had tea and Greta played on her steel pans to find harmony. Now, what they found is a musical treasure and an important document in Swedish music history
Greta was from the 1960’s all the way to early 2000 one of the most daring and experimental solo dancer in Sweden. She toured around the world and gave performances in India, US, Africa, Japan etc. She toured and collaborated with the Norwegian jazz vocalist Karin Krog, the legendary Swedish psych act Träd gräs och stenar etc. Developing her own style of dance combined with her voice and her stomping feet. And for some of her performances she recorded her works on tape. That’s what we have here on this retrospective of an artist always going (dancing) her own way. Work of art!!
