Some spirited playing by very accomplished musicians (chapeau especially F. Ovide and Sophia D – and for some bravura string bass at the end), a lot of great songs with a good live atmosphere – complete with occasional nods; nicely paced, good sound, some unexpected arrangements – a great evening in safe hands.
