You may not know of Karen Jebane (aka Golem Mecanique) but reading the words of Stephen O’Malley in the press release you may want to explore her music further. She uses voice, organ and a form of hurdy-gurdy to make music that O’ Malley describes as deeply moving and bonechilling and seemed to take him into another world entirely.
