“Gardenia” (AKA Mmabolela) is a place in South Africa on the border with Botswana. In 2019 Polish electroacoustic musician Jacazsek took part in a residency for composers curated by Francisco López called Sonic Mmabolela. It was here he made field recordings of frogs, insects, shells and stones which were then digitally processed to make an album that highlights natures hidden beauty
