Best known as Black Audio Film Collective’s composer and sound designer, this is the debut LP by Trevor Mathison.
Numbered + handmade; 180gr vinyl in custom-made screen-printed outer (sealed), containing two risograph inserts with a specially commissioned essay by Kodwo Eshun; no digital.
Produced to coincide with Mathison’s first solo exhibition in a UK institution, curated by Appau Jnr Boakye-Yiadom and Oliver Fuke (From Signal to Decay: Volume 1) at Goldsmiths CCA (London), from 12/08/2022 until 18/09/2022: the exhibition’s closing event (16/09/2022) will be the first opportunity to hear this release in full, with Mathison and Ain Bailey in conversation.
