This must be one of the most stunning Coil releases I’ve heard, right next to “Astral Disaster” and “Moon’s Milk”. Each track is a totally separate story, which gives this effect of unfocused randomization of style and atmosphere. But isn’t that the whole point – they compose a killing, dreamy, mysterious record, ranging from noisy electricity, through dense gloom, through postindustrial electronics, through Jhonn’s magick poetry, finishing at “All The Pretty Little Horses” – yes, again. Highest possible recommandation !
