An album of sublime spiritual music by one of our favorite artists, Brother Theotis Taylor of Fitzgerald, GA. Throughout the 70s, Brother Taylor fasted, prayed and, when the spirit hit, ran his reel-to-reel recorder. He played piano and sang in a heavenly falsetto, burning through entire reels at a time. “We visited Brother Taylor at his home last year to talk about releasing some of his old Pitch singles (rare 7″s on the storied Savannah gospel label). Instead, the artist, now 92, suggested we listen to these old reels.”
