Raça Azul is a gulfstream of melodies originally put together for Spencer Clark’s Avatar Blue exposition (at Het Bos, march 2019 – Antwerp). The collection was performed in front of a live audience. As a way to activate the artworks that were displayed in Clark’s blue playground. Edited and reworked the composition, for optimal home listening
Couperin’s La Flore (2018) is a midi transcription of a tune by Couperin Le Grand is the origin of this piece. The final result is just spielerei. A scherzo, be it fairly lengthy. La Flore moves from A to Z. Like a frog leaping through various memories and thoughts. Until it finds a resting spot. And evaporates. “Ribbit!”
