Back in 1982 to prosaically named Terry Fox made music from taking piano wires out of the piano and bowing, plucking, hitting and scraping them. The A side of this record features most of the above forms of hammering at something using an array of mallets and other hitting devices. The B side consists of one lengthy piece where he gets a really long piece of wire and records the drones that come from it. Totally unique and totally hypnotic
